Hampshire County, W.Va. — The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office (WVSFMO) is requesting information in a string of arsons in the Capon Bridge and Augusta areas. Each of the eight fires occurred in a separate vacant structure, and there have been no reported injuries.
As the investigation continues and until the suspect or suspects are identified and apprehended by law enforcement, the WVSFMO and cooperating agencies are asking the public to be on the lookout, and to report any and all information. Please report any tips or suspicious activity to the WV Fire Marshal Hotline at 1-800-233-3473.
